On the 5th of June in the Ecologist's Day students of specialty “Ecology” and lecturers of Department of Management and Engineering in the field of environmental protection have held a festive event “Ecological readings”. Students and lecturers read poems dedicated to the protection of the environment. The rector Sydykov Yerlan Battashevich, the deputy dean for scientific work Safarov Ruslan Zairovich, the head of the Department of Management and Engineering in the sphere of environmental protection Beysenova Raykhan Rymbayevna, as well as the teachers-ecologists, made a congratulatory speech. Ecologist's Day is a professional holiday of all nature advocates, environmentalists, public figures and environmental activists. It is celebrated annually on June 5, on World Environment Day.
