The Department of Environmental Management and Engineering was established in 2008.
Mission: to be the best department of the Eurasian region, providing scientific research and obtaining advanced knowledge in the field of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources, training highly qualified personnel in the specialty of ecology at all levels of education, for the harmonious development of priority sectors of the economy, responsible to the state and society for the results of their activities.
The staff of the department trains specialists in the following areas:
Bachelor's Environment (6B051) (Russian, Kazakh)
Master's degree Environmental protection technology (7M087)(Russian, Kazakh, English) scientific and pedagogical direction.
Doctoral studies Environmental protection technology (8D087) (Russian, Kazakh).
In the 2020-2021 academic year, the department employs 21 full-time teachers, including 4 doctors, 9 candidates of science, 2 Ph.D. doctors, 4 masters of science. The share of teaching staff with academic degrees and titles in the bachelor's program is 81%, in the master's program is 100%.
