Double degree education

 

L.N. Gumilyov ENU is a member of the International Academy of Higher Education Sciences, the Eurasian Association of Universities and the Association of International Studies of the CIS and Baltic Countries, the International Association of Universities and the European Association of Higher Education Institutions. In 2005, the university signed the Magna Carta of the Universities of Europe in Bologna (Italy).

International cooperation is based on 116 agreements with foreign universities, research centres and other scientific organizations of the European Union, America and Oceania, Asia and Africa, CIS countries, international scientific and educational foundations, embassies and representative offices in Kazakhstan.  The Kazakh branch of Lomonosov Moscow State University was opened on the basis of L.N. Gumilyov ENU in 2001.

L.N.Gumilyov ENU was the first Kazakh university to start implementing a two-degree master's degree within the framework of the Network University of the CIS countries and the University of the SCO countries.

Since 2014, the Department has been training undergraduates under the two-degree education program between ENU and the International University of Nature, Society and Man "Dubna", according to the Agreement dated June 22, 2015, between ENU and the University "Dubna", the International Intergovernmental Organization "Joint Institute for Nuclear Research" and the RSE "Institute of Nuclear Physics" of the Atomic Energy Committee of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the agreed Master's curriculum and joint educational program.

The two-degree training program was developed to form international experience among graduates and their successful promotion in the labour market. Those who have completed the two-degree education program receive diplomas from 2 universities (ENU and Dubna State University).

 

At the moment, Makhambet Assel, Nurkasimova Mahabbat, Yerdauletov Meir, Nurgalieva Diana, Abdrakhmanova Azhar, Dalelova Aidana, Sagyndyk Baglan, Kuanyshbai Akzhol, Baltash Elnury have completed their studies and are successfully working under this program.
