Rating of the Department of Management and Engineering in the Field of Environmental Protection
According to the results of the "National rating of the demand for universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan -2020" published on May 15, 2020 by the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating, the Eurasian National University is recognized as a leader, including in terms of the level of education undergraduate in the direction 6B052 - Environment, group of educational programs 051 - Environment and on the level of education doctoral studies in the direction 8D052 - Environment, group of educational programs D087 - Technology of environmental protection. According to the level of education, the master's degree in the direction 7M052 - Environment, the group of educational programs M087 - Environmental protection technology took 2nd place.

Achievements of our teachers
Teachers of the Department of "Management and Engineering in the field of environmental protection" were awarded the titles of "Best teacher of the university", in 2014 Masenov Kairat Bagasharovich, in 2016-Beisenova Raikhan Rymbaevna, in 2017-Zhamangara Aizhan Kashaganovna, in 2019-Meiramkulova Kulyash Sadykovna and Saspugaeva Gulnur Yerzhanovna.
Every year, teachers of the department "MEEP" undergo advanced training in various areas. 2020 was no exception.

Akbayeva L. Kh. passed the course of preparation for the exam on the international English language testing system (IELTS) and the English language course for the commercialization of technologies
The teachers of Akbayeva L. Kh. and Bakeshova Zh. U. completed the general course of English and reached the level of B2 CEFR.
Bakeshova Zh. U. passed the general English course and reached the level of B1 CEFR, received an official report on the results of the TOEFL ITP.

Achievements of our students
International Internet Olympiad in Ecology
March, 26th, 2020 students of 2nd, 4th years of the Faculty of Natural Sciences on speciality 5B060800-Ecology participated in V International Student Internet - Olympiad on Ecology in Togliatti State University of Russian Federation (https://www.tltsu.ru). The Olympiad was organised by the Institute of Engineering and Environmental Security for students from Russia, European Union, EurAsEC and BRICS countries. The participants of the Olympiad carried out the tasks in the on-line mode.
According to the results of completed tasks, 8 students were awarded diplomas for the 2nd and 3rd places.

Students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences-volunteers of the United Nations Children's Fund UNICEF
3rd year students of the specialty 5В060800-Ecology of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Eurasian National University named after L.N.Gumilyova Nurysh Aidana Beksultanovna and Tuyak Sandugash Nurlanovna are currently volunteers of the United Nations Children's Fund UNICEF. Students are included in the volunteer group for the competition, and on February 6-7, 2021 they completed a 2-day intensive course.
In the intensive course, volunteers were given detailed information about a volunteer program to promote a culture of plastic reduction among studentsPlastic Free III, as well as recommendations for the correct delivery of information to students. Based on all the materials and the proposed schedule, the volunteers chose classes at a convenient time for them and began to teach Plastic Free to students of grades 1-4. Currently, more than 300 classes have been held in all cities and regions of the country.
