On April 29, 2022, the Head of the Department of General Biology and Genomics of the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Rakhmetkazhy Bersimbay, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences Nelya Shapekova, Acting Associate Professor of General Biology and Genomics, PhD, Akmaral Nursafina and Associate Professor of Physical and Economic Geography Inkarova Zhansulu Ishanovna, met with students of 10-11 grades and teachers of science in the framework of the Week of Natural Sciences in the school-lyceum №8 in Nur-Sultan.
During the meeting, Academician Rakhmetkazhy Bersimbay gave lectures to school graduates and teachers of biology on the program of grades 10-11, shared his thoughts on the latest developments in modern education and textbooks. He noted that in the future, together with the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, he plans to open profile courses to improve the skills of school teachers and make it accessible to all teachers in the city.
The lecture was followed by the opening ceremony of the educational and methodical laboratory "Bioorganic" in conjunction with the Faculty of Natural Sciences and a modern classroom of geography. In addition, Akmaral Nursafina and undergraduates Azhar Toktabaeva and Arman Kerimbay organized a competition in the field of vocational guidance for students in choosing a profession.
