Students of the Department of Chemistry annually participate in the competition of scientific research works of students (SSRW) of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2020, the 4th year students Aimanova Nurgulіm, Zhumabekova Altynai were awarded a Diploma of the I degree, supervisors: Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor Dosmagambetova S.S., PhD Mashentseva A.A.
A 4th year student Rakisheva Saniya Renatovna was awarded a Diploma of the II degree, supervisors: Ph.D., associate professor Dzhakupova Zh.E., PhD Mashentseva A.A.
In 2021, Nurmakhan Akerke Erlankyzy, 4th year student, was awarded a Diploma of the I degree supervisors: Ph.D., Associate Professor Dzhakupova Zh.E., PhD Mashentseva A.A.
The Diploma of the II degree went to the graduate student Mirkhanova Ainur Zhunusovna, supervisors: Ph.D., Associate Professor Mashan T.T., Master of Chemistry Turlybay G.E.
In 2022, the second stage of the NIRS competition was held at the Karaganda Buketov University. 4th year student of the Department of Chemistry Omertasov D.D. (supervisor: Zhatkanbaeva Zh.K., candidate of chemical sciences, associate professor) took second place and became the owner of the Diploma.
