Results of field training 2 st year, specialty «6В05209-Geography»,

In the period from 24.06.2021 – 12.06.2021, second-year students of the groups Gg-21, Gg-22, Gg-23, Gg-25 of the educational program 6B05209-Geography passed the training landscape practice according to the study plan.

Responsible teachers for educational practice: Ramazanova N. E., OzgeldinovaZh. O., Zhanguzhina A. A.

In connection with distance learning students gr. Gg-21, Gg-22,Gg-23, Gg-25  passed landscape practice at the place of residence.The types of work in practice are adapted to the specific objects of research.

he main goal of field practice in landscape science is to master the methods of field landscape research and gain experience in evaluating natural systems for practical purposes.

The main objectives of the practice are:

-          development of methods for detecting and mapping geosystems in the field; defining the boundaries of geosystems and establishing their rank;

- mastering the method of landscape profiling (determine the vertical structure and morphological structure of the studied geosystems);

- mastering the method of working in key areas, analyze the relationships between the components of the natural environment; identify patterns in their structure and dynamics, determine the main trends of evolution under the influence of natural and anthropogenic factors.

Field practice in landscape science is the basis for consolidating students' theoretical knowledge gained in lectures and practical classes in general geography, geology, geomorphology, hydrology, soil science, biogeography, landscape science, and other private physical and geographical disciplines. It contributes to the formation and deepening of many physical and geographical concepts, the expansion of ideas about the applied aspects of landscape science and landscape ecology.

 Field landscape practice is an essential link in the training of specialists who are able to conduct independent geographical and ecological research. In turn, the passage of educational practice in landscape science is necessary for the subsequent study of physical, geographical, and geoecological disciplines.

 During the field studies, the students studied the natural conditions and the natural and anthropogenic processes of their native land. We got acquainted with the geological structure, relief, climate, soils, and vegetation of the studied area Landscape studies of the territory were carried out: facies in key areas were described.

Based on preliminary comprehensive studies, all types of localities were identified, the main types of tracts were described, and dominant and rare ones were identified. Based on the data obtained, landscape maps were constructed, an analysis of the morphological structure, maps of the actual material, and landscape profiles were made.

Field training practices are an integral part of the educational process of students enrolled in the educational program "6B05209 - Geography".

During the passage of landscape practice, students consolidated theoretical knowledge, gained practical skills, which in the future can provide assistance in conducting independent research.
