November 17, 2017 an international practical conference "Actual problems of geography"

To date, one of the main tasks of geographical science is to identify solutions to the country's main problems at the regional level, depending on the characteristics of the economy, the population and nature. The collection of geographic science on a wide geographical basis makes it possible to study the trends and patterns of geographical phenomena in time.

In the modern world, the importance of geographical research and geographic education is recognized all over the world, and its need is growing every year.

 

 November 17 this year, under the guidance of Professor of the Department of Physical and Economic Geography of the Eurasian National University.                 L.N. Gumilev faculty of natural sciences Auezova Zaure Tanatarovna held a scientific and practical conference on "Actual problems of geography", where the present and future of the country and general geographic sciences were discussed, methodological and theoretical issues were discussed. The conference was held in russian, kazakh, english.

 About 150 articles were published at the international scientific and practical conference, namely from the leading universities of all regions of Kazakhstan, cities of the Russian Federation such as Omsk, Novosibirsk, Tver, Yaroslavl, Barnaul, from the Buryat Republic of Ulan-Ude, as well as from Grodno, Gomel and Brest University of the Republic of Belarus. I would like to note that 22 articles from other countries were published in the collection.

 The conference was held in six areas, such as physical geography and geoecology; economic, social and political geography; tourism and rest; hydrology and meteorology; geoinformation cartography, modeling, as well as the prospects for its study and development, as well as the problems of geographical education, new trends and methods. The articles of the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual problems of geography" were published in the form of a collection consisting of 453 pages (28.3 p / l).
