International workshop at the University of Jordan

COMSTECH in collaboration with the University of Jordan is organizing a training workshop on Modern Spectroscopic Techniques and Their Applications in Research at the University of Jordan, Amman Jordan during March 12th - 14th, 2023. This workshop aims to bring together eminent scientists and a multidisciplinary community from OIC member countries working on various aspects of spectroscopic techniques (NMR, X-Ray diffraction and Mass spectrometry), to enable stimulating discussion and exchange of information. On behalf of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Choudhary, Coordinator General COMSTECH and of the organizing committee (Prof. Dr. Amal Al-Aboudi) Prof. Dr. Sultanova N.A. of the Department of Chemistry of the Faculty of Natural Sciences were invite in this important event to share her research experience with other participants. Prof. Sultanova N.A. presented a research experience on the title "Chemical composition and biological activity of some halophytes of the flora of the Republic of Kazakhstan". The scientists from Pakistan, Jordan, Turkey, Indonesia, Germany, the United States of America, Malaysia, Algeria, Greece, Kenya, Palestine, Egypt, China and Bangladesh presented their reports on scientific research. The famous British scientist, President of Network of Academy of Sciences of Islamic Countries (NASIC), Professor Emeritus Atta-ur-Rahman delivered lecture about the exciting word of NMR spectroscopy, science and disruptive innovations in medicine, chemistry, biology and related sciences.
