Manufacturing practice

On may 23, 2020, the 3rd-year students of the GG-31 group, under the guidance of the master of natural Sciences, senior teacher Daribay Temirbay Okasuly, held the first day of industrial practice. The purpose of the practice is to consolidate students  knowledge of the economic geography of Kazakhstan, the geography of the population, the basics of industrial and agricultural production. This practice, which lasted 21 days, was implemented through distance learning, depending on the situation in the country. However, despite the online learning format, in the systematic practice specialist "Institute of geography and water security" of the MES of RK Arman Kabashev told a lot of information, starting with the formation of the Institute and to tools work.

In addition, during the practice, 25 students of the group received various industrial topics, studied and defended them at a high level. Students not only defined the goals, tasks, and structure of the industry, but also separately told about the plants in Kazakhstan, studied the system of work. All students who have the opportunity visited factories on their topics in cities and introduced other students. Special attention should be paid to the topics "Astana-Onim JSC" - Moldahmet Azhar, "Ural-Atyrau sturgeon hatchery" - Zaidulayeva Ayazhan, "Atyrau oil refinery" - Ihsanova Raisagul, "Semipalatinsk Silicate Plant" - Akylbekova Altynai. Students also filled out a diary-a report issued by the University. Students were able to consolidate their knowledge in practice and reported for the work done. At the end of the practice, the students conducted in-house processing of the collected data.
On the last day, June 17, in front of the head of the department, N. Students who passed the production practice actively applied the theoretical knowledge that they studied during the year. Students have learned to read the methods of collecting, processing, analyzing and generalizing primary materials and compare their observations with the materials of scientific literature, and in the future will be engaged in research activities, expanding their geographical horizons. Also, thanks to practice, students have come to the conclusion that they can become experts in their profession.
