Concluted field practice in landscape science

Field practice in landscape science is the basis for consolidating students' theoretical knowledge gained in lectures and practical classes in general geography, geology, geomorphology, hydrology, soil science, biogeography, landscape science, and other private physical and geographical disciplines. It contributes to the formation and deepening of many physical and geographical concepts, the expansion of ideas about the applied aspects of landscape science and landscape ecology.

In connection with distance learning students gr. Gg-21, Gg-22 from May 25 to June 6, 2020, passed landscape practice at the place of residence. During the field studies, the students studied the natural conditions and the natural and anthropogenic processes of their native land. We got acquainted with the geological structure, relief, climate, soils, and vegetation of the studied area Landscape studies of the territory were carried out: facies in key areas were described.

Based on preliminary comprehensive studies, all types of localities were identified, the main types of tracts were described, and dominant and rare ones were identified. Based on the data obtained, landscape maps were constructed, an analysis of the morphological structure, maps of the actual material, and landscape profiles were made.
